Sanjar Madi

Sanjar was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, into a creative family — his mother a teacher, his father a writer. Drawn to the arts from childhood, he explored music, dance, and performance before initially pursuing a career in finance. After earning a Master’s in Finance and working in banking, he followed his true passion and studied acting and filmmaking, both locally and at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. He soon landed leading film roles, including the hit The Tale of a Pink Bunny, and directed a nationally acclaimed Christmas show. Today, Sanjar works internationally as an actor and filmmaker and runs the Acting Art Studio and OINA Theatre.
